EYE ON PHOTOGRAPHY
What does photography mean to you ?
> Literally : write with light
What black & white brings into photography ?
> Black and white means the origins of photography, its DNA. It is just about lights and shadow, it makes each picture even more timeless, graphical, extreme, almost religious. Black and white is spiritual.
Analog or digital ?
> Both !
What camera do you use ? What was the last equipment you bought ?
> I like cameras not only as a tool but also as objects, from the simpliest pinhole to the latest Japanese one. The last one is : Nikon 35 Ti.
What inspires you ? What or who influenced your work ?
> Nadav Kander, Billy Kidd, Julia Heta, Daido Moryama, Emmanuel Fontanesi, Romain Bernardie James and of course Mathieu César, with his captivating universe.
What subjects, landscape, portrait, etc. are your favorite subjects for photography ?
> It took me a lot of time to be interested and then dare to capture humans. I often see more beauty in abstract composition of shapes and colors, no matter what it is. At the very beginning I started to take pictures of my environement because it was a way for me to paint without tubes.
What emotions do you want to provoke through your work ?
> Make you feel love.
What is your best printed memory ?
> Sometimes there are photos you would like to forget too.
What is the biggest risk you have taken in your career ?
> I quit school very early and started to work to better choose what I wanted to learn.

> Building a campaign on truth. Speaking about our most precious good : Time.
What did you want to express through this serie of pictures ?
